The Village of Telkwa will resume recycling collection on March 24 after missing two scheduled collection days.
The village said a part needed to complete repairs on its collection truck was received after its delivery was delayed.
Some tips the village recommended for residents include:
- Breaking down cardboard and packaging to save space
- Creating a designated spot for recycling
- Consider taking recycling to the transfer station
“The village greatly appreciates residents’ patience while this matter was addressed,” the village added.
Recycling collection was missed on March 10 and 17.
