It will be blue skies and sunshine in the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District over the Bulkley Valley Exhibition weekend.
That’s according to Environment Canada.
Meteorologist Matt Loney said while the weather will be fair for the weekend, tomorrow’s (Wednesday) parade might not be as nice.
“Wednesday, we have an upper trough that will be over northern B.C. and exiting into Alberta,” he said.
“There is going to be some instability associated with that and subsequently a chance of showers.”
With the overcast skies, cooler temperatures are expected with a daytime high of 18 degrees.
“From there, we will have an improving forecast through [the weekend]. Nice late summer stretch where we get well above normal temperatures,” said Loney.
The hottest days of the fair are expected to be Saturday and Sunday with highs of 28 degrees while overnight lows remain in the high single digits.
