The Ministry of Environment has issued a road dust advisory for Burns Lake.
The ministry says high concentrations of course particulate matter are expected to persist until there is precipitation or dust control.
In collaboration with Northern Health, the ministry is advising persons with chronic underlying medical conditions to postpone strenuous exercise.
Poor conditions tend to be worse near busy roads and industrial operations.
The advisory is in effect until further notice.
