Houston mayor hoping to address health care at UBCM

The Mayor of Houston and a couple of councillors are currently in Whistler for the UBCM convention.
Mayor Bill Holmberg says he has a busy schedule while he is down there.
“We are going to be meeting with the minister of forests to discuss the tenure river that we are going through in Houston and the Morice River TSA,” he says. “We will also be talking with the minister of health about 24 hour health care in Houston. Those are two big things in Houston.”
Holmberg spent today with other mayors discussing how best municipalities can get provincial funding for things like mental  health.
Councillors Shane Brienen and Councillor Michalle Jolly are also at UBCM.
The convention wraps up on Friday.
