Eleven Smithers dancers will be heading down to Vancouver tomorrow for the Triple Threat Dance Convention.
Creative Roots owner Amanada Dorscht says it will be a weekend of dance in the styles of Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Ballroom, and Hip-hop taught by professionals in the dance industry.
“It is a huge opportunity for them and opens their eyes to what is out there and what they can experience outside of the north,” she says. “It is just a great opportinuty for our dancers.”
Also, she says, two girls will be competing in the competition portion of the convention.
This will be the first time dancers from Smithers will compete  in the Triple Threat Dance Convention.
