Burns Lake Mayor Chris Beach is now the village’s director at the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako board.
He says council voted to him into the position.
“It’s going to keep me in the loop on what’s happening in our district and region a whole and to learn from the other mayors.”
Beach says being director will help him be involved in initiatives like the Northwest Resource Benefits Alliance.
Their push to get a better return on resource dollars generated in the area.
