The Smithers Secondary School’s curling team has made a presentation to council.
Coach Laurence Turney says they wanted to let the community know about their recent win at the provincials.
“They won 7 straight games,” he says. “So they were the champs, they won all the games they needed to, so that’s great.”
It has been exactly 20 years since the curling team at SSS has won the championship.
