The Smithers and District Chamber of Commerce has elected and re-elected a couple of board members today.
President Colin Bateman says Bruce Hutchinson will be the new treasurer because Dale Clarke’s term is done.
“Dale did an amazing job for us and he has some pretty big shoes to fill,” he says. “But Bruce has been with us for a couple of years and I think he’s up to the task.”
Baron Carter is the only new face on the board of directors after everyone else was either re-elected or their terms weren’t up yet.
The board will be sworn in at the next chamber meeting scheduled for April 13.
