High Stream-flow Advisory for Bulkley and Nautley Rivers

Good news, both the Bulkley and Nautley River’s have been downgraded from a Flood-Watch Advisory to a High Stream-flow Advisory.

This announcement was made official yesterday by both the River-Forecast Centre and The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (RDBN).

The areas and tributaries most impacted by this release are Burns Lakes, Francois Lake, Houston, and Smithers.

At this time, the RDBN is still asking members of the public to exercise caution around any body of water.

If you are boating on any of these water systems, it is asked that you try your best to reduce waves to the best of your abilities.
