RCMP in Prince Rupert say after an extensive search for a man missing since May 7th they now believe he may have chosen to disappear.
According to an RCMP press release, search crews have turned up no sign of 24-year-old Jonathan Knight since finding his vehicle and inflatable boat in the Khatada and Davis Lake area where he was to have gone camping.
RCMP say it is possible that Knight may have chosen to live in the wilderness and may not wish to be located but officers are still asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the RCMP so his safety can be confirmed.
Knight is described as being 5’11” and 204 pounds with green eyes, brown hair a moustache and goatee.
