The finishing touches are being put in place for this weekend’s downtown events.
The annual Main Street Festival will have even more attractions, music, vendors, and events than year’s past.
Some examples are an RV showcase for Mom and Dad while the kids can enjoy lego car racing.
There will also be the regular events, like a biking demonstrations from McBike, as well as kids face painting.
Main Street Merchants Chair Corina Brewer says attending is a friendly reminder of what Smithers has to offer.
“It’s just a great way to experience the amazing, open-heartedness that Smithers has,” she says.
The Festival will be on Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm on Smithers’ Main Street.
Kids interested in the Lego Car Race can register at Big Smiles by Friday.
