Midsummer will being previewing their concert in downtown Smithers later this week.
This year’s teaser will be a sample of what the Festival is all about, presenting two bands: local group Cabin Fever and `Parker Cove of Abbotsford
The annual event begins on the weekend, but Coordinator Greg Vinnish would like to present something extra to the community.
“It’s just another on of those things to give back to the community itself. We just throw on a free concert to show Smithers our support [for] allowing [us] to be running for our 32nd year,” he says.
The preview will take place in Bovill Square Thursday evening.
Midsummer will begin on Friday night.
