An arrest has been made following a search warrant execution in Houston over the weekend.
RCMP said that last month information was received about potential drug trafficking at a home at the 3200 Block of Pearson Road.
A release added that surveillance of the residence supported evidence consistent with drug trafficking and on Saturday police executed a search warrant.
The resident of the home, a man who is known to police, was arrested during the search.
Police say they located and seized a loaded shotgun, suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills and items consistent with drug trafficking.
According to Cpl. Madonna Saunderson, the suspect was released pending further investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is being told to contact Houston RCMP.
