More fire restrictions will be lifted in the Northwest.
BC Wildfire Service is lifting the Category 2 and 3 open fire bans in the Bulkley, Skeena, and Cassiar Fire zones Tuesday at Noon.
These areas are now able to burn stubble, waste piles, and light fireworks.
BC Wildfire Service reminds the public it’s unsafe to have a fire in windy conditions.
These restrictions are still in place for the Nadina Fire Zone, which includes Houston, Burns Lake, and Granisle. This will be upheld until September 30th or until further notice.
