Money is being raised for the owner of the home that was engulfed in flames on Tuesday (Oct 18).
Gladys Anderson lost her home near Alfred Avenue and Columbia Street after it caught fire shortly before 6 p.m.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation and 25 firefighters responded.
According to Fire Chief Kelly Zacharias, the two occupants got out of the home safely.
Donations are being accepted through Smithers Christian Reformed Church.
