Many local Chamber of Commerce’s are now accepting nominations for their annual business awards, which recognize standout businesses in each community.
Burns Lake & District will accept recommendations from now until October 14th. All are welcome to the “Nominee Reception,” which will be held in the Burns Lake Curling Club at 6:30 PM on October 19th.
Finalists voting will run between October 20th – 30th and awards will be distributed at the Business Excellence Awards Dinner & Dance on November 6th.
Similar ceremonies are being held throughout the Bulkley Valley and Lakes.
Nominations for Smithers District Chamber of Commerce’s “Community & Business Awards” will be accepted until October 9th and finalists will be chosen on October 13th. Winners will be announced at the “Awards Event” on November 14th at Hudson Bay Lodge at 6:30 PM. Nominations forms can be found here.
Houston District Chamber of Commerce’s “Business Excellence Awards” ceremony will be held be on October 24th at the Houston Community Hall (cocktails begin at 6 PM, dinner starts at 7 PM). Nominations for these are now closed.
