The BC Construction Association and LNG Canada are extending their funding for the Trades Training Fund (TTF) and CONNECT programs.
These support training for those entering high demand trades along with helping to find employment in Northwest BC once training is complete.
“As 2024 Construction Month’s title sponsor, LNG Canada continues to demonstrate its commitment to building community throughout BC,” said Chris Atchison, President of the BC Construction Association.
The programs began in 2016 and with the new extension will run until 2026.
Also renewed through the CONNECT program is Gear Up, which helps job-ready candidates with the tools and supports necessary for success on the jobsite.
These are available for businesses in communities west of Houston, including Kitimat.
