UPDATED: Highway 16 cleared following Motor Vehicle Incident in Smithers

Highway 16 has reopened to regular traffic.

Smithers emergency services are on scene at a motor vehicle incident near the intersection of Highway 16 and 16th Avenue. 

The incident occurred at 10:39 this morning (Friday) and no injuries were reported.

According to the Drive BC website, the highway has been reduced to single lane alternating traffic.
