Groups from all over the Province will meet in Smithers tomorrow night to discuss safe and practical travelling across Highway 16.
The “Transportation Symposium” will include the First Nations Health Authority, the Ministry of Transportation, 23 First Nations, and municipal governments to discuss both recreational and medical travelling in Northern BC.
First Nations Health Authority C.O.O. Richard Jock says “safe and affordable medical transportation for First Nations along the Highway 16 corridor is [the] goal.”
