Smithers RCMP has arrested a man on three charges following an incident last week.
Police received a call around 6 PM on November 12th of someone allegedly passed out at the wheel in a driveway on Railway Ave.
Nearing arrival, the RCMP claims the driver swerved toward their vehicle and forced them off the road. Police say the driver then left the scene.
On November 18th, police arrested 33-year-old Jesse Thomas White in Smithers.
He faces three charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from a police officer, and breach of recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, November 25th.
