A public forum on the TransCanada Pipeline will be held in Moricetown tomorrow.
Economic Development Officer, Darlene Glaim says representatives from the project will be on site at the moricetown Multiplex to provide band members with information and answer questions on the pipeline.
She says it is important that all members attend,
“Sooner or later the Moricetown band council has to make a decision on whether or not they approve of this pipeline to be going through the traditional territories of Wet’suwet’en/ Moricetown band members. So it is very important that they understand the impacts as well as the possible benefits that may arise.”
The forum runs tomorrow from Multiplex from twelve thirty to four pm.
