Crews are still working on a forest fire near Burns Lake while another in the Telkwa Range is almost out.
The Northwest Fire Centre’s Olivia Pojar says both fires were sparked last Wednesday by lightning.
She says about twenty crew members are still on scene at the fire near Southside, south of Burns Lake.
That fire is contained and has not grown in size over the weekend.
And crews are patrolling a fire site in the Telkwa Mountain Range west of Houston for hot spots after extinguishing a blaze there.
