The Chetwynd RCMP are seeking witnesses to a head-on collision that claimed two lives.
In the early morning hours of this morning (Sunday), Chetwynd RCMP responded to a serious collision on the top of Wabi Hill on Highway 97 south.
Mounties say a 2001 black Dodge 2500 pickup and a 2011 grey Ford F350 were involved in a head-on collision.
According to police, the 19-year-old male driver and 15-year-old passenger in the Dodge were deceased at the scene.
The 21-year-old male driver of the Ford was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The highway has since reopened and the investigation is ongoing, as the causal factors in the crash are not yet known.
