The call is out for artists for the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George.
Curator of the Winter Games Arts and Cultural Festival, Kate Newby says artists of all mediums will be selected to represent the artistic talent of the province.
“I’m looking for artists that are performing artists or visual artists. I’m looking for musicians, I’m looking for theatre, I’m looking for street performers and visual artists in all multi-media.”
Newby says anyone can apply but she is especially looking for professional artists with a focus on showcasing Northern B.C. talent.
The provincial government has contributed one hundred and fifty thousand dollars to help the artists participate in the Games.
