Beacon Theatre upgrades to be completed thanks to funding boost

The Lakes District Film Appreciation Society has received a $20,000 boost courtesy of the Nechako-Kitamaat Development Fund.

It is in support of the Beacon Facade project.

The Beacon Theatre in Burns Lake is one of only a handful of community-owned theatres in the province.

The Nechako-Kitamaat Development Fund Society was jointly established in 1997.
