Houston council meets tonight.
Western Canada Accessibility and Enablement Consulting will be giving a presentation to council on the results of the Age Friendly survey.
The survey covers everything from transportation and housing to social engagement, health and recreation.
Residents of the Northside Park area will be in chambers to discuss concerns about the community garden taking over parking space for the ball diamond on Copeland Avenue.
Houston Search and Rescue is currently looking for grant money to purchase a new primary response vehicle and storage space for the vehicle.
And council will look at the results of the new District logo survey and approve the new design which will appear on letterhead, buildings and municipal vehicles.
