Seeley Lake Compound Vandalized; New Hazelton RCMP Weekly Report

New Hazelton RCMP responded to 91 calls between July 30th and August 5th.

Police received a call to Seeley Lake secure compound last Sunday regarding a possible entry.

RCMP learned that five males allegedly entered the property and damaged several vehicles.

The investigation is ongoing, police know that one suspect was wearing a black Sons of Anarchy hoodie.

Also on Sunday, RCMP set up a check stop near Hagwilget.

Upon stopping a Ford SUV, Police believed a driver to be drunk. The driver failed a roadside screening device and had their vehicle towed.

The driver was also fined and had their license suspended for 90 days.

Police also seized a small amount of a controlled substance.

RCMP remind the public not to drink and drive.
