Houston RCMP responded to an assault report that took place at an apartment building yesterday (Tuesday).
Upon arrival, police located one person with significant injuries, and was transported to hospital for treatment.
One person was arrested in the early stages of the investigation and remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to contact the Houston detachment.
