SD91 announces new health and safety manager

Health, safety, and emergency preparedness for School District 91 (SD91) will have a new lead for the 2026/27 school year.

The district announced Diane Nordstokke will be filling the manager role, bring with her experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Occupational Health, Human Resource Management, and Emergency Preparedness.

“Her collaborative leadership style, dedication to employee well-being, and understanding of legislative and operational requirements will be a tremendous asset to the District,” said Secretary-Treasurer Darlene Turner.

Nordstokke currently works for LNG Canada in Kitimat in various similar roles.

Her first day on the job will be August 15.
