2018 BC Cattlemen’s Convention rides into Smithers

If you’re looking to educate yourself in the world of agriculture, the 2018 BC Cattlemen’s convention is taking over the Smithers Civic Centre and New Arena tonight (May 31st).

Things kick off around 5 pm and there are a wealth of things going on over the next 3 days.

This years convention theme is “Ranching in the Age of Technology” and will surely have a few things to teach us all.

Tonight (May 31st) is more of a meet and greet to kick things off with wine and cheese, so you can’t really go wrong there.

Tomorrow (June 1st) is a bit of a different feel, as they will host their annual general meeting.

Saturday (June 2nd) has a plethora of educational events planned, as well as, a banquet and dance to finish things off.

During the entirety of the three days, there will also be a Trade Show.

The Trade Show will be open Thursday, May 31st from 5:00 – 9:00 pm, Friday, June 1st from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday, June 2nd from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
