Bulkley River Flood Watch Maintained

The BC River Forecast Centre has released a statement maintaining the flood watch for the Bulkley River.

River water levels rose over the weekend and early this week due to high temperatures.

There is potential for rain and thunderstorms for the rest of the week, which will increase river levels and melt more of the snow pack.

Due to forecast uncertainty throughout the week, forecast flows may change substantially by Wednesday.

It’s best to stay away from the river until the watch has been waived.
