Woman killed by train in Burns Lake

A 44 year old local women is dead after being hit by a Via Rail train in Burns Lake.

The RCMP called the incident “an accident” which took place at the Francois Lake Drive crossing.

The Burns Lake RCMP and BC Coroners Service will continue to investigate.
