Mark Perry will be debuting his newest song about a local couple that rowed from Vancouver Island to Alaska.
The singer-songwriter says he was inspired.
“Sheena and Leland are the two incredibly crazy and talented people that took on the rowing expedation,” he says. “They built their own boat, they are very talented and energetic and rowed 1500 miles up and down the inside passage.”
The concert starts at 7 pm tonight at the Driftwood schoolhouse.
Some of the money raised will go back into the venue.
He will be joined by some of his musical friends as well.
