Northern B.C. residents only have until Saturday to register as first in line for tickets to the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George.
2015 Canada Winter Games’, Melissa Layton says front of the line access will allow residents to pre buy tickets before they are available to the rest of the country.
“We really want B.C. residents to take part in the Games to really own the Games. It’s Northern B.C.’s games so we wanted to make sure that they get the first opportunity to purchase tickets and take part in what is happening. The Games won’t be back until beyond 2041 so this is really a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Layton says residents who live north of 100 Mile House will have until May 31st to go online at www.canadagames2015.ca to pre-register for tickets to events which will go on sale at a later date.
